We got home around 11:15pm because right after his age group awards we were able to high tail it out of there. It was really back and forth about school today and I ultimately let him decide. At the last minute he decided to go for very grown up reasons and I am very proud of him. As for the meet yesterday, he looked good but his scores didn't reflect it. He got lower scores last night than last week but he isn't as upset about it because he was in a great mood, my night owl was in his element. He did receive one medal which he admitted did make him feel better also. So since it was a last minute decision to go to school in the pouring rain we got there just at 9 am when school starts and there were still parents dropping off their kids so he wasn't all that late but it leaves you with a hood covered face for a picture.
