Day 132

Boston is several hours away from us but the fear is close to home. My dentists, husband and wife, and their 16 year old daughter were in the marathon, and were two blocks away from the first explosion. Luckily, Janice had stopped to take a sweatshirt off which caused her to lose several minutes off her time. At first she was frustrated but now it's what probably saved her family.
Today, everyone please send a prayer. A very close friend of mine lives in Waltham, Massachusetts which is one of the towns currently on lock down. I know several other people in the Boston area who, according to Facebook are on lock down and are all safe. Please, no more lives lost.

Day 126

Last night we had a heck of a storm roll through which resulted in losing power for two hours. Aidan was a little nervous. He clearly has a little PTSD from the hurricane. It took a bit to reassure him that we were not going to lose power for very long. After he called down he was fine and bounced around the house with his head lamp and Gameboy.

Day 120

It is so cold here today, really makes us miss Florida, even though when we were there it averaged 65 degrees, that's much warmer than the current 25 it is outside right now.

Day 118

What a great spring break Aidan had! We went to Florida to visit family and had a blast! Aidan got to go fishing in Tampa bay and he caught the biggest fish! He also got to go sailing for the first time on his birthday and even steered for a little bit! It was a little chilly the first few days we were there but it warmed up nice after that. Now, back to school!
