Happy 10th Birthday Aidan!

We went to Medieval Times for his birthday with one of his friends and we had a blast! Afterwards we came home and opened presents.  He really wanted a new nintendo 3DS...

I don't think he was at all excited about it ;)  He has gymnastics practice later where I am surprising him with cake and then it's off to his birthday dinner at the Outback.  What a great birthday he is having!

Day 122

The last day of school before spring break! Of course with snow on the group I am not sure it really feels like spring.  Aidan is so excited for his birthday next week! We are not doing a party this year, he and a friend will probably just go bowling or to a movie.  He has gymnastics practice on his birthday so I ordered an ice cream cake to bring there for all the kids to sing to him then we will go out to dinner after practice.

Day 121

I'm going out on a limb here and posting this. Yesterday was a snow day, welcome to spring. Last night we got more snow and there is a two hour delay. I had to drive over the mountain to get to work today and everything looked good so I don't know why they wouldn't have school. I have no idea how they are going to make up this day. So obviously lacrosse was cancelled last night but I was surprised that gymnastics was closed also, good thing he did an extra gymnastics practice on Tuesday.

Day 120

This is a typical pajama outfit for Aidan. I think he goes out of his way to mismatch. Those particular spongebob bottoms we given to him and he wears them all the time. They also happen to be 3 sizes too big. He rolls the waist several times to help keep them from falling.

Day 119

Wow the second day of spring and there is a two hour delay from school because of the snow last night. It wasn't much snow but then it rained and it's all slushy out.

Happy St. Patricks day! Aidan is so excited to wear his Irish dude shirt today!

Day 116

He has been up and down all night. Around 4:30am he woke me up because his light was on. Just gymnastics today.

Day 115

What a busy day yesterday! It was quite the mess changing into three different getups every hour it seemed but he enjoyed it. Lacrosse was moved outside yesterday and it was a bit chilly. His poor hands were purple and he didn't have the thin liner gloves in his pockets just his thicker gloves. No other kid was cold but every other kid is twice his size.

Day 114

What a fun meet yesterday! After Aidan was done competing he wanted to stay to watch his other teammates so it ended up being a long day. I hope you are enjoying the video, I haven't even looked at the pictures yet to see if I got anything good. We are all exhausted because of daylight savings since we lost an hour of sleep when we had to get up at 5:30am which certainly felt like 4:30am. Today is quite the busy day. They moved up lacrosse practice by an hour so while I was going to have Aidan go to gymnastics practice for 2 hours then go to lacrosse I didn't feel an hour of gymnastics was worth it but he wants to go. So we are going to gymnastics from 4-5 then lacrosse from 5:30-7:00 then to the church for some sort of penance renewal at 7:30. I can't believe he wants to do it all!
