Summer Update

Aidan has had quite the busy summer already.  It started off with golf camp and wrestling camp the same week.  A week after that he had lacrosse camp. We have had a couple day trips to the beach and lots of swimming. Summer isn't over yet, we are going down the shore tomorrow and then our beach vacation in a couple weeks. Here are some pictures so far this summer.

Aidan has developed an interest in tennis

I haven't seen hail like this is a very very long time. Aidan was super excited to see it, me, not so much. We have been experiencing very weird thunderstorms this summer.

Last Day of 5th Grade

I was hoping this day would never come, that perhaps the school would suddenly discover that the children were still missing much to school to actually finish and everyone would have to repeat their current grade next year. But, alas, that did not happen. So today is the last day of elementary school for Aidan.  I cannot believe that my little boy is going to middle school next year. I know he is excited about it and I know he will be fine. It has been quite the year with lots of excitement and changes.

Today is the 5th grade field day. All the 5th graders from all three elementary schools will be traveling to the middle school today for a year end celebration. This will be the first most of these kids will meet each other. Aidan knows a handful from sports. He is excited to be able to see those friends today. One more week of school left.

Aidan won his lacrosse game last night! Today he had a quick check up before school...he gained 2.5 pounds in a month! I am do excited!
