Day 44

Hooray it's friday! A got his trophy last night and he LOVES it! He is looking forward to his piano lesson today then a nice relaxing weekend.

Day 43

Today is the end of season party for soccer where he will get his trophy.  I always think this is the real reason that he plays sports...it's all about the medals and trophys, hahaha.

Day 42

For some reason A has been sleeping in my bed for over a week. When asked why he does not have an answer. Oh well. I just wish he would stop hitting me in the face all night long...

Day 41

Not much to report. A had a good day at school and a good gymnastics practice.

Day 40

What a great four day weekend we had.  Friday we went to dinner and a movie and saw Megamind. Saturday he had his last soccer game of the season. We are so happy to only have to do one sport until lacrosse starts in march.

Day 39

Brrrrrr it's cold out there.  I think our random 70 degree days are no longer a part us.  There is no school thursday or friday for the teachers convention so see you on monday!

Day 38

A is completely exhausted from yesterday but he didn't realize it. It all blew up last night with him crying in the locker room at practice because one of his coaches was being mean by making him hold a "hand stand on the parallel bars for 10 whole seconds and his arms hurt"!  Luckily this week is easy for him since he is doesn't have school thursday and friday so he can relax. He doesn't even have to do his big writing for language arts this week.

Day 37

Wow, it's november already?! A had a great weekend and had a ton of fun at his gymnastics meet yesterday. It went late and was far away but I was able to get him home in time to trick or treat for a half hour. At the meet yesterday there was a halloween shirt decorating contest that our team won!  A got a king sized hershey bar for it!

Halloween Scrimmage

This was A's first meet of the season.  It is just a fun meet, no scores count for anything. It is a great way to get the boys going for the season and if they make a mistake it doesn't affect anything. This wasn't his best meet, but it was a great start to the season! His next meet isn't until January so he has plenty of time to polish up his skills.
