Last night was back to school night. All of Aidan's teachers love him and he is doing very well.

Day 12

Aidan had a doctor appointment yesterday. He gained 2 pounds and grew 1/2 inch in a month! He now weighs 64 pounds!

Today was my first day back to work after school started and wouldn't you know I forgot to take a picture. When he gets home from school my mom will send a picture.

Aidan had a good soccer practice last night.

Last night we went out for my birthday to the cheesecake factory. Didn't even know Aidan liked cheesecake until he ate more than my mom and I combined haha.

Day 4

Aidan had a great soccer game on Saturday. There are 18 kids on each team! I guess they really wanted to do 6 teams but didn't have 6 people willing to be head coach. After this weekend a bunch of people emailed and complained about the lack of playing time due to the large teams. It must have struck a cord with someone also because now someone is willing to be the head coach of a 6th team. Now they are asking if anyone wants to move to a new team. Aidan doesn't want to, I was hoping he did but only so he could be a different color this year ;) But alas, he wants to stay so we are stuck being green, for the 5th out of 7 years playing soccer.

Day 3

Ugh his bus is coming earlier everyday. We just about to walk outside when we heard the driver beeping his horn. Third day of school and we are already rushing out the door.

Day 2

Aidan had a great soccer practice last night. This morning everything was back to normal, him not wanting to get up.

First Day of 6th Grade/Middle School

Summer went by too fast. No sooner did we get back from vacation that we were out back to school shopping. We had a heck of a time finding him shoes. He either didn't like any, didn't have his size, or they were too expensive (he is now a 3.5 which puts him in the big kid section which costs more, but does have a bigger selection). After going to I don't know how many stores he finally found the perfect pair.  He was very nervous about starting middle school. It is so much bigger and he gets a locker and you change classrooms for each class.  I took him a few times to see it and answered as many questions as I could (especially since I went to school there).  He went to bed just fine last night. I didn't sleep a wink, I up with worry all night.  When he came home he was jumping up and down because he had such a good time and says he LOVES middle school!  So after trying not to cry this morning from mommy nerves I was trying not to cry from happiness.

Sorry for the delay. I have been looking everywhere for my card reader to upload the pictures I took but I cannot find it anywhere. Good thing I took a picture with my phone! Hopefully I will find it today so I can post the rest of the pictures.
