Halloween Parade

Day 36

Today is the halloween costume parade at A's school.  Check back later for a picture from that. In the mean time, here is a terrible picture from right now.

Day 35

Today is starting out very foggy but it is going to be 72 degrees today. In october? It is supposed to cool down for the weekend which is good because I hate warm trick or treating.

Day 34

A is getting very excited for halloween! We have his costume all set and are working on the final details of the shirt for the shirt decoration contest at his meet.

Day 33

Nothing going on today, A sure needs these days off from his crazy schedule.

Day 32

A has a busy gymnastics week. He will be getting an extra practice in in order to be prepared for his first meet so he will be at the gym four days this week.

The bus came a few minutes early today so I hardly had enough time to even get this one picture taken.

Day 31

Friday already? Wow this week flew by.  A had a great piano lesson tonight. He is flying through his book and only has just a few pages left.  His teacher is gonna go through the options he has to pick the best book for him to start soon.  A's first gymnastics meet is coming up on halloween and he is very excited!  I'm just glad that soccer is almost over.

Day 30

This week in school is all about drug prevention. Each day has a theme. Yesterday was wear your clothes inside out since drugs turn you inside out.  A was only brave enough to wear his shirt and socks inside out. He told me that one boy had everything inside out, including his underpants! I hope that boy wasn't showing everyone!  Today is wear a sports team jersey for team up against drugs. A chose his Devils jersey, I guess it's not a bad idea to have a hockey team behind you!

Day 29

It's a little chilly to start the day but is supposed to warm up a little. Last nights soccer game was a win! Hooray! Of course the last shot on goal no one knew if it went in or not because it had become so dark.

Day 28

He is supposed to have a soccer game today, a make up from a rained out game. There is a chance of rain but I am more concerned about how cold it will be and how is gets dark so early now.

Day 27

Wow, fastest weekend ever! I cannot believe it is monday already. We had a great time pumpkin yesterday. A wanted to try the corn maze for the first time and he loved it!

Day 26

Wow, friday already? We hope to have a fun time this weekend with pumpkin picking. A is also doing fantastic at his piano lessons!

Day 25

Guess what A did last night at gymnastics practice? SIX back hand springs in a row on the tumble track (a long trampoline of sorts)!!!!!

Day 24

What a great four day weekend it was for A!  He scored his very first goal ever at his soccer game on saturday and we had a beautiful day for apple picking on sunday. A had his eye checkup yesterday and boy was he glad when he got his new lenses in his glasses and saw so much better!

Day 23

TGIF! What a long week this has been! We have a four day weekend because of Columbus Day and A is very excited about it! This weekend we hope to go apple picking and possibly pumpkin picking. Look A is halfway dressed already this early!

Day 22

Hooray it is supposed to be sunny today! Yesterday A's school picture came home.  For once it didn't out too bad.  I included it in this post since I am horrible and never get around to mailing his picture anymore.

update and correction

After looking through my computer I did in fact find a picture from the last day of second grade! How I missed an album titled "last day of second grade" I will never know.  So check out the history post from the beginning to see it.

Day 21

Brrrrrrr! It has been cold and raining here for several days now. Today should be the last day and then back to the sunshine.   A finished off the big hershey bar sometime last night...probably when he was apparently playing wii also.

Day 20

It is expected to rain every day this week. A is supposed to have a soccer game today but it will probably be cancelled.  A saw his doctor yesterday for a checkup and got his flu shot while we were there.  A told his doctor a joke that cracked him up. The joke: what do you call a cat on the beach?.......Sandy Claws!

Day 19

We had a fantastic time at Hershey Park yesterday! We also could not have asked for more perfect weather.  A told me that it was even better than he thought it would be and boy did he have high expectations. Here A is sleeping with his new hershey bar pillow.

Day 18

I cannot believe it's october already.  It's a cold and rainy day today.  We have an exciting weekend, tomorrow is team spirit day at A's gym and on sunday we are going to Hershey Park!!
